This guy looks like a decent size, I’ve had several people tell me its around 300 pounds. This is him going into the fields for his nightly feast on the corn crop.

Beavers have built a dam across Mine Run
Beaver dam on mine run
Its about 2-3ft deep on the upstream side. The beavers have dug into the side of the bank for their homes, there are two large holes on the opposite bank a short distance upstream. Lots of duck activity in this deep area too.

Me & Dad spent most of the day digging out an old culvert and replacing it with a ford which we layered with some old pieces of sidewalk cement. Turned out pretty good.
