Took down a dead red oak tree today. Didn’t like the setup, tree was surrounded by thick sticker bushes which is not a good situation for trying to escape a tree coming down in the wrong direction. Ended up being just fine. I cut up the branches and part of the top of the tree for firewood so far, still need to process the trunk, going to make good firewood.

Love the way the place looks with falling and fresh snow. Unfortunately I couldn’t enjoy it fully as it feels like I’m getting the flu…ugh.
